الأُصُولُ الثَّلَاثَةُ

﷽

In the name of Allaah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

٭ ٱعْلَمْ - رَحِمَكَ اللَّهُ - أَنَّهُ يَجِبُ عَلَيْنَا تَعَلُّمُ أَرْبَعِ مَسَائِلَ :

* Know - may Allaah have mercy on you - that it is obligatory upon us to learn four matters:

الأُولَى : العِلْمُ، وَهُوَ : مَعْرِفَةُ اللَّهِ، وَمَعْرِفَةُ نَبِيِّهِ ، وَمَعْرِفَةُ دِينِ الإِسْلَامِ بِالأَدِلَّةِ .

The first: Knowledge, and it is: knowing Allaah, knowing His Prophet, and knowing the religion of Islaam (submission) with the evidences.

الثَّانِيَةُ : العَمَلُ بِهِ .

The second: Acting upon it.

الثَّالِثَةُ : الدَّعْوَةُ إِلَيْهِ .

The third: Calling towards it.

الرَّابِعَةُ : الصَّبْرُ عَلَى الأَذَى فِيهِ .

The fourth: Patience over the harm encountered in it.

وَالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ﴿وَٱلۡعَصۡرِ ٭ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَفِي خُسۡرٍ ٭ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ﴾.

And the evidence is the statement of the Most High: In the name of Allaah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful ﴿By time, indeed mankind is in loss, except for those who have Eemaan and do righteous deeds and advise one another to truth and advise one another to patience﴾.

قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ - رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى - : «لَوْ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ حُجَّةً عَلَى خَلْقِهِ إِلَّا هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ، لَكَفَتْهُمْ».

ash-Shaafi'ee - may Allaah the Exalted have mercy on him - said: "If Allaah had not sent down any proof upon His creation except this Surah, it would have been sufficient for them."

وَقَالَ البُخَارِيُّ - رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى -: «بَابٌ: العِلْمُ قَبْلَ القَوْلِ وَالعَمَلِ؛ وَالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: ﴿فَٱعۡلَمۡ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لِذَنۢبِكَ﴾، فَبَدَأَ بِالعِلْمِ» قَبْلَ القَوْلِ وَالعَمَلِ.

And al-Bukhaaree - may Allaah the Exalted have mercy on him - said: "Chapter: Knowledge before speech and action; and the evidence is the statement of the Most High: ﴿So know that there is no deity except Allaah and seek forgiveness for your sin﴾, so He began with knowledge" before speech and action.

٭ ٱعْلَمْ - رَحِمَكَ اللَّهُ - أَنَّهُ يَجِبُ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ وَمُسْلِمَةٍ، تَعَلُّمُ ثَلَاثِ هَذِهِ المَسَائِلِ، وَالعَمَلُ بِهِنَّ :

* Know — may Allaah have mercy on you — that it is obligatory upon every Muslim man and woman to learn these three matters and to act upon them:

الأُولَى : أَنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَنَا ، وَرَزَقَنَا ، وَلَمْ يَتْرُكْنَا هَمَلاً ؛ بَلْ أَرْسَلَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولاً ، فَمَنْ أَطَاعَهُ دَخَلَ الجَنَّةَ ، وَمَنْ عَصَاهُ دَخَلَ النَّارَ.

The first: that Allaah created us, provided for us, and did not leave us neglected; rather, He sent a Messenger to us, so whoever obeys him will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys him will enter the Fire.

وَالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : ﴿إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكُمۡ رَسُولٗا شَٰهِدًا عَلَيۡكُمۡ كَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ رَسُولٗا ٭ فَعَصَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنُ ٱلرَّسُولَ فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُ أَخۡذٗا وَبِيلٗا﴾.

The evidence is the statement of the Most High: ﴿Indeed, We have sent to you a Messenger as a witness over you, just as We sent a Messenger to Pharaoh. But Pharaoh disobeyed the Messenger, so We seized him with a severe seizure﴾.

الثَّانِيَةُ : أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَرْضَى أَنْ يُشْرَكَ مَعَهُ أَحَدٌ فِي عِبَادَتِهِ ، لَا مَلَكٌ مُقَرَّبٌ ، وَلَا نَبِيٌّ مُرْسَلٌ ؛ وَالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : ﴿وَأَنَّ ٱلۡمَسَٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدۡعُواْ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدٗا﴾.

The second: that Allaah is not pleased for anyone to be associated with Him in His 'Ibaadah (worship), neither a near angel nor a sent Prophet; and the evidence is the statement of the Most High: ﴿And [pray] that the mosques are for Allaah, so do not call upon anyone with Allaah﴾.
